Between 1986 and 2001 a space station called MIR travelled around our planet. In Russian, Mir means a lot of things: Peace, Universe and Earth. The book is not a celebration of the scientific mission but a journey into the astronaut’s humanity.
A seed inside the space station generates a little, green, fragile plant and when the scientist finds it his only concern is to keep it alive. The plant becomes a symbol of our planet, of love and of the best feelings humanity can express through Earth: respect and care.
